About Orchard Twist JewelleryNickle..An increasing number of people are allergic to nickel, so we have made the decision to use nickel free Sterling Silver and 14 carat Rolled Gold wires for our jewellery pieces (plated wires can contain nickel). Where we use Silver Plated and Gold Plated wires (tiaras and accessories), we try to source nickel free versions. If you have a nickel allergy, let us know. 14 carat Rolled Gold14 carat Rolled Gold wire is unlike gold plated wire. Rolled Gold wire has a gold layer up to 100 times thicker than plated wire, and as such is generally considered to be a lifetime product, classed as ‘fine’ (not costume) jewellery. Under normal conditions it will wear like 14 carat gold, not wearing off as in the plated version. Austrian Swarovski Helix Crystals..These crystals are less well known than other Swarovski crystals, and have unusual spiral cut facets which catch and refract the light beautifully - perfect if you want to sparkle! We can add Swarovski crystals to most of our ranges to suit your requirements. Size to suit you..We offer bridesmaid’s ranges to complement the bride’s range, which can be made in a smaller child’s size if required. We will endeavour to produce necklaces and bracelets to the length you require (links permitting), to fit in with gown necklines and wrist sizes – we are all different! Our prices for necklaces are for our Standard necklace length - approx 16"; and bracelets are approx 7.25" (links permitting in both cases). Tiara bands are made to measure, and it may also be possible to vary tiara heights – please speak to us. We feel attention to detail is very important. Wirework verses 'traditional'..Our lightweight wirework tiaras wrap around the head and secure at the back with a ribbon as standard, although a chain is available at a small extra cost – many find this style more comfortable than the ‘traditional’ metal band. All tiaras are made in nickel free silver plated or gold plated wire, to keep the costs down on these 'wear once' items. Even smaller tiaras..Our mini tiara wedding cake ‘toppers’ are a smaller version of the Bride’s tiara, which complement your wedding theme. We can also provide napkin rings, perhaps as a memento for the top table or your attendants, in the same colours/stones as your jewellery, with a toggle formed in a design from your jewellery Collection. Both the cake ‘toppers’ and napkin rings are made in your choice of Sterling Silver or 14 carat Rolled Gold. Bouquets, button holes, corsages and other accessories..The crystal bouquets come in various sizes: small, medium and large for the Bride, and for the Bridesmaid(s) - an adult posy and a child’s size posy, perfect for the little flower girl. All bouquets and posies have a ribbon handle for comfort, and a lovely bow. Crystal corsages, crystal button holes, tie chains and crystal fascinators are also available to match in with your Collection colour theme. Please be aware that by their nature, crystal corsages are not light and we do not recommend them for light weight or flimsy dresses/materials. We can also provide table decorations to suit your needs. Please note that we use non-tarnish silver or gold colour wire for these pieces, which may contain nickel.
